Burger King offers morning Star veggie burgers. Pretty good. Pictured with it’s beefy cousin in the background.

The recipe called these “Eat Balls” but I’m calling them “Wheat Balls” as they are mostly wheat gluten. The recipe is from a new book we just purchased “My Beef With Meat” by Rip Esselstyn the Engine 2 guy. The flavor was good but they were extremely rubbery. I don’t know if that’s they way they are supposed to be or not. I served them with whole wheat fettuccine, pizza sauce and frozen peas.
Tonight’s supper. Not really a recipe to share. I cut tofu into slices and cooked with mushrooms in soy sauce in pan. In another skillet I cooked fresh green beans with seasoned with Braggs liquid aminos and sesame seeds. Steamed new potatoes and then mashed with soy milk and garlic powder.
Was all good.
Our intention was to get the Dolmades (stuffed grape leaves) but they were out. So we opted for the Spanakopita (contains cheese), the Greek salad and pita bread with tzatziki sauce (more dairy). So we strayed a little. Got it to go and brought it home. It was all good. We’ll have to try again for the Domaldes.
Edit: I’ve since had the Domaldes and they were really good.
