2014 Winter Errandonnee – Part 7

This post is one of multiple posts (click here for all posts) on the 2014 Winter Errandonnee Challenge which is being hosted by the bike blog chasing mailboxes d.c..

When Nova came home this evening we both rode to the grocery store to get candy to pass out at the St Patrick”s parade tomorrow. I rode the Kustom Classic Schwinn Cruiser.

Grocery store for candy.

I should get more candy than this as I always run out but I guess I”m too stingy.

Errand: To get candy for St Patrick”s parade.
Destination: Grocery Store.
What I learned/observation: Nova is pretty good about being patient with me while I snap photos. I”m pretty sure I paid more for the candy than I would have elsewhere just so I could use the grocery store and count it as an errand.

Upon returning home we discussed dinner options over an adult beverage. I had planned on cooking but it was kind of late by now to be just starting dinner so we grabbed some lights and rode off to have dinner at Great Wall. Me now on the Mongoose Beast.

The Beast at Great Wall.

I ordered the same thing I did the other day at lunch.

Rice noodles with veggies.

Errand: Dinner.
Destination: Great Wall restaurant.
What I learned/observation: Riding at night is such a different experience than riding in the day. Having so many bikes I have a hard time with lighting them all.
