The coolest thing happened when I stopped in the bike shop that I frequent most while on a ride over the weekend. The owner brings out this Schwinn Bicycle Sales Register from 1973 and showed me where two of my Dad”s brothers were registered for purchasing bikes which I assume were for my cousins. He was looking through this old register for another reason and had recognized our last name.
I”m guessing there is one of these registers from a later year with my Dad”s name in it when my parents purchased my first new bike. Once I narrow down the year that was I may go back and see if we can find it.
Inside of the book. Even though the info in this register is 40 years old I didn”t want to post it with the names, address and bike serial numbers.
