We trucked the bikes to the South end of the big city with plans to ride paths to the North East end of the city for lunch at Noodles and then return back the way we came. Once we ate we decided to continue on the path and ride it to it’s end, farther to the East. Once we reached the end we had another change of plans and decided to see if we could turn this ride into a loop instead of backtracking by using sidewalks, side streets and some of the cities other bike paths. We ended up riding a 31 mile loop without riding on any major or busy streets, utilizing 5 (I think) of Wichita’s bike paths. I checked the temperature once while riding and it was 97 degrees.
