Tennessee Riverpark Trail – Chattanooga

This ride was part of our Fall 2010 trip.

Today we rode the Tennessee Riverpark Trail in Chattanooga, Tennessee. It’s a paved and boardwalk trail that runs along side the Tennessee River. It’s approximately 8 miles in length and runs from downtown out to the Chickamauga dam. There are signs along the trail explaining the area’s history. We started downtown and rode it out and back and across the river and back for around 20 miles stopping at the Boathouse Rotisserie & Raw Bar for lunch. Just a few blocks from the end of our ride we stopped for refreshments at the Big River Grill. When we returned to the bikes mine had a flat.
