The Old Mill Tasty Shop has been around since the 1930″s
I spent the day with our club showing bicycles at two locations. One in the morning an the other in the afternoon. First was at the Farmers Market in the big city which we”ve been doing annually for a few years now. The second show was part of a first year event to promote cycling along the big city”s main street Douglas Ave. In addition to our bike display this event included safety and maintenance workshops, guided bike tours and a pub pedal hosted by our club all taking place on the main street.
We started our day off with breakfast at an old establishment on Douglas. I took the John Deere bike to show at the Farmers Market. For the afternoon show I went home and picked up two additional bikes. By the end of the day I was too beat to attend the evening pub pedal.
