This past weekend several of us from our bike club attended and participated in 2 gravity races in Oklahoma. The Great Sand Springs Derby in Sand Springs and the Rebuilding Together Construction Derby in Oklahoma City. At the Construction Derby I raced the Radio Flyer which is one of 2 cars built by our friend Thad. This particular derby requires a team of 4 push starters who have a 15 foot run to push and get the racer rolling down the hill. My team pushed me to a 2nd place win in the amateur category.
