This bike was a freebie from the Midwest Bicycle Swapmeet. The tires that were on it were dry rotted. I had a set of 27″ tires already mounted to an aluminum wheelset so I just swapped out the wheels and it’s now road worthy. The original wheels were steel.
This Grand Sport De Luxe was a low end model from Gitane and I’m guessing this one to be from the early 1970s.
