We recently took a trip to Hot Springs, Arkansas to meet up with a long-time friend of Nova’s who lives in Texas. Although this wasn’t a “riding trip” we did bring our bikes which we almost always do wherever we go. I ended up with some time to myself which I took advantage of to do some riding. The first afternoon while the girls got a bathhouse massage I rode up to an observation tower and then around the downtown area stopping at Superior Bathhouse Brewery which I was surprised when I realized this was my first brewery visit in the state of Arkansas. Our last trip to Arkansas was more during the height of the pandemic and we didn’t seek out any breweries. Interesting note: Superior Bathhouse Brewery is the only brewery within a national park. I had their Dos Irish lager which is a Mexican – Irish lager which was really good.
The next morning while the girls’ sit by the air b&b pool reminiscing I rode the nearby Northwoods mtb trails. I stuck to the easy and moderate trails and had a great time.
We may have to return someday so Nova can do some riding and visit the brewery.
