Bike Life During A Pandemic
How’s that for a clickbait title? Not much going on here. Pretty much the usual but I just felt the urge to document the past week or so. The big news of course at this time is the Coronavirus. Early on we didn’t take it as seriously as we probably should have. We were still galavanting around to the grocery store for both groceries and entertainment and to the casino where we pawed at the machines and used our Senior status to get a discount on the buffet. This was our first time eating the buffet.
We also rode to my parents for breakfast. We are now avoiding them just to play it safe.
We rode to the river and played around on the singletrack there.
I did a solo coffee outside ride to under a bridge to avoid the sleet that was coming down.
The past couple days we’ve been trying to stay out of the way to some degree although we did go to the post office and the grocery store for a few items, only one of us going in at each location.
It’s cold, dreary and damp here. Social distancing would be more enjoyable if the weather was nicer. We would ride more just for the sake of riding and/or do more coffee outside or picnics. As it is now I just want to ride to the grocery, sip coffee and people watch. I have a hard time staying at home.
Stay safe and well friends.
That shot of the Schwinn in front of the red door is nearly perfect!
Thanks. That frame I believe is a Monark but I did stick a Schwinn headbadge on it.
Any chance you would send me a copy without the graphics? I would love to use it as a wall paper on my phone!
