- Details: Rode to the big city and had an Americano and a cookie at a coffee shop/bakery. We chose this place because they normally serve our coffee in mugs but for some reason we got 2 cardboard cups each. The coffee was good. Thought the cookie was chocolate chip but it turned out to be pumpkin spice chocolate chip. Didn’t care for it. Finding 45 cents on the street on the ride to and from and a penny on my rear rack when we came out to our bikes after stopping at a grocery store, made our coffee cheaper for my #coffeeonthecheap theme. I broke my “no coffee after noon” rule this ride taking place mid afternoon. Probably won’t sleep well tonight. While out today I Also made a Geocouch score and a couple of sign ground scores.
So with 7 coffee rides done, I’ve officially completed the challenge but I think I’ll go for this year’s optional “8 is great” coffee (this being the 8th year of the challenge) before considering the challenge complete. I’ll still be coffeeneuring anyway.
