Trail Of The Couer D’ Alene – Idaho

After Idaho Falls we headed to the Wallace, Idaho area, again making stops along the way.

We had planned to stay in Wallace at the same hotel we had on our previous 2 visits but it was full so we opted to stay at the hotel at the 50,000 Silver $ Saloon in Montana near the Idaho border. We decided we would ride the section of the Trail Of The Couer D’ Alene that we hadn’t ridden.  The following morning we trucked the bikes to the trailhead  in Mullan, ID. We rode from there to the town of Kellogg and back. 13 years ago we rode from Kellogg to the trails end across the lake so we’ve now ridden the entire trail.

  1. Great photos Randall, nice video, and good adventure on the Trail. I have done the entire trail several times and it may just be my favorite trail. So glad you got to complete the trail on this trip.

  2. Thank you. Have you ridden the Route Of The Hiawatha? Not a long trail but packed with scenery, history and the old railroad infrastructure. Probably our favorite trail. We rode it for the 3rd time and also the Route Of The Olympian. I’ll post about those soon. Thanks for following along.
