So Long Single Track… For Now

One of the more clear sections of the path.

There is a bit of singletrack trails down by the river which is about a 5 mile ride from home that I frequent. The trails were carved out by motorcycles many years ago but now rarely get any use and are not maintained. When the weather warms up it gets overgrown with foliage and the bugs (i.e. ticks) come out. Yesterday I rode the trails for what will probably be the last time until fall or winter when I’ll be back breaking bare branches away trying to reclaim the path.

Overgrown section.

On the way to the trails I pass an area of auto salvages and metal recyclers. This Galaxy 500 was just recently dropped off at one of the salvages. Although I won’t be riding on the singletrack I’ll still ride to it just to ride by here.
