Pedaler’s Jamboree 2014

For the 2nd year this Memorial Day weekend we participated in the Pedaler’s Jamboree. It’s a 2 day out and back ride on the Katy trail in Missouri with live music and beer at several stops along the way. It was once again a great time. Saturday it rained pretty good for a portion of the day and sprinkled the rest of the day. Racing stripes then became the fashion for the rest of the day and the sound of squeaking chains filled the air between stops.
We choose to stay at a hotel vs camping so including our ride to our hotel it was 38 miles for us each day. I believe the jamboree itself is a little over 30 miles. In Boonville we stay at the Holiday Inn Express which lets us park our bikes in a storage room inside and is just a short distance from the Katy. 2 of our 3 nights in Boonville we ate at Maggies which is really good.
