2014 Winter Errandonnee – Part 5

This post is one of multiple posts (click here for all posts) on the 2014 Winter Errandonnee Challenge which is being hosted by the bike blog chasing mailboxes d.c..

Being out of rice milk for cereal and out of peanut butter for toast, I decided that was a good excuse to go out for breakfast. I initially thought about riding in to the big city to eat but had some chores I needed to do this morning so I decided to stick close to home.

I rode the old Western Flyer.

Not a whole lot for breakfast choices around here so I opted for Mcdonalds.

Ride to McDonalds for breakfast.

I ordered what I thought would be the lesser of the evils from their breakfast menu.

Hot cakes and hasbrowns.

Errand: Breakfast.
Destination: McDonalds.
What I learned/observation: From the string of old retired people I watch exit the McDonalds upon my arrival, it appears they must have some morning pow wow there to which I’ve never gotten an invitation.
