So be prepared.
So many times I set out to just run a short errand but once on the bike I just keep on riding. Today was one of those times. The problem with this though, is that I”m ill-prepared for a ride. Not dressed appropriately, no water, no tools and no means of fixing a flat. I should know to take these things with me and dress properly no matter how short of a trip I think I”m taking. Fortunately I didn”t get a flat, I just got cold. One thing I do almost always have on me is my camera. I rarely leave home with out it.
It”s not staying cold long enough for anything to freeze over to ride on.
The buffaloes are still roaming in what little space they have.
The dogs chase…
and the coyotes just howl.
I can never resist stopping at these old oil tanks.
Geese heading back to water for the night after feeding in the fields. Speaking of fowl, I scared up a few pheasant along my ride.
