Today was the 3rd annual Toys For Tots bike ride where we ride and drop of toys with the Marines who distribute them to children at Christmas. The wind was a ridiculous 33mph with gusts of who knows how much. This I assume explained the lower turn-out than in the past. There were still 127 that did brave the wind. Some of those opted to just ride one way. Our return trip was brutal. I think it was 15 miles round trip. It was still a fun ride and was great seeing our friends and doing something charitable.
