Pulled over waiting for a combine to pass.
A (unintentionally) burnt wheat field. There is a video I shot while it was burning below.
Upon return from my ride I checked the weather and the “feels like” temp was 108 (Fahrenheit). Even though I took plenty of water and even stopped for more I was on the verge of being sick afterwards. No shade out on these county roads.
The night of this ride we had a terrible storm with wind gusts reported being as high as 94mph. We suffered a lot of tree damage plus fence, roof, guttering etc.. Been spending the days since removing limbs. Storm damage photos here.
