A friend contacted me the other day asking if I wanted his old Specialized Rockhopper MTB. I couldn”t turn it down.
I”m guessing this is circa late 80s/early 90s. It has u brakes under the chainstays, and a Biopace changring, neither of which were around long.
Note: I had replaced the seat before taking the above photo.
While on the subject of Specialized, I”ll go ahead and post up our other Specialized bikes we have or had.
My current main ride a Crossroads Cruz which Nova found abandoned in a field (in bad shape) and gave to me for my 48th birthday. I believe its from the early 90s.
My 2002(?) Specialized Rockhopper.
Nova”s 2003(?) Specialized Rockhopper.
Nova”s 2002(?) Specialized Hardrock. This bike was stolen in Las Vegas while on a trip out West. The same year she bought it I believe.
