Today I rode in to the big city for lunch. On the way there I went through a neighborhood we lived in well over 20 years ago. At the edge of the neighborhood there was an abandoned railroad easement that was overgrown with a few trails cut in by motorcycles. These trails were where I first rode my first Mountain Bike. At some point since then it”s been turned in to a drainage ditch.
On the way home I stopped off at a small city fishing lake (pictured above) and rode the trail around it. It was a beautiful day with the temperature in the mid 60s and little wind.
