Pulled the Schwinn Typhoon frame and fork down from the attic and built it up today.
First with a fixed gear 700cc wheel set off the Walmart Thruster I recently bought. Rode it around this morning. First time riding fixed. Learned some things. If you forget your riding fixed gear, fixed gear quickly reminds you. I have one knee that complained about riding fixed.
Then I put on a 26″ 2 speed kickback wheel set and knobbies. Rode it around this afternoon. Learned some things. 2 speed kickback doesn”t work well for riding dirt jumps. I”m too fat & old to be riding dirt jumps.
