Mom, Dad and I rode about 10 miles on Wichita”s Canal path this morning. This path runs along side a drainage canal (formerly the Chisholm Creek) and beside or under the “Canal Route” (Interstate 135). It was pleasant out with a overcast sky and the temperature in the mid 70s. For the first couple of miles Mom mentioned that she seemed to be having to pedal harder than usual. We ignored her complaints. Later I investigated and found out that when I attached her front wheel I didn”t get the brake hooked back up properly and her front brake had been partially engaged the whole time.
