Today Mom, Dad and I trucked the bikes to the big city to ride. We started at Chisholm Creek park, rode the path East over to Woodlawn, then back past our starting point and down to 17th street and the canal path. Mom and I on the tandem.
We made a few side trips off the path to find the church my parents were married in and visit the site of a 1965 Air Force tanker crash that killed 23 in the neighborhood and the planes 7 crew members. We also spotted 2 deer and 1 turkey.
