This morning I rode over to attend the ribbon cutting ceremony for a new McDonalds opening up in our little town. Although our little town is great to get around by bike, there are no good places to park and lock a bike at any of the businesses. The new McDonalds is no different. This McDonalds is unusual as that it is in a strip mall but there is no bike parking for this building at all. I think the only bike racks in town are at the schools and library. It would be nice to see bike racks or designated bike parking of some kind. I suppose if I really cared I”d approach the business owners and managers
I ended up parking my bike on the side of the building at the gas meters and after the ceremony posed it in front for this photo.
