Occasionally I”ll find someone via the internet that is doing a cross country or similar, long bicycle ride. I”ll follow along via their blog, YouTube or whatever means they use to document and share their adventure. A while back I came across “the Duzer” who I”ve followed on a few such rides. Ryan is a huge bicycle advocate and is entertaining to watch. He”s just now taking off on another one…

I really envy and admire those that are able to do these rides.
Our longest ride has only been 3 days, was supported and we slept in hotels.
