This is a 2005 New Belgium bike made by Electra for the New Belgium Brewing Co. New Belgium is the brewer of Fat Tire beer among others and also host of the Tour De Fat that we attend.
I purchased the bike from the original owner who won it at their place of employment. It had never been ridden and even came with the owners manual.
From what I understand New Belgium has been having bicycle manufacturers make these branded bikes since 1999. Each year it’s a different style or color. Bikes were first made by Electra then Felt and this year Schwinn. These are limited production bikes and cannot be bought new. Employees of the brewery receive one after a year of employment. They are also given away to distributors/sellers who sometimes give them away to their employees in contests or to charity auctions etc…
Have been looking for the top part of the light mounted on the front or whole replacement for mine not sure where to inquire same as picture exactly
