From the Wichita-Sedgwick County Metropolitan Area Planning Department…
You are invited to help temporarily transform and improve a street in Wichita. The Wichita Bicycle Master Plan Better Block is a fun and exciting event that will make temporary physical changes to a Wichita street in order to demonstrate how an area can be improved with enhanced bicycle, pedestrian and transit access – mixed with art, culture, pop-up businesses, and street life.
Meet us at 4:30 p.m. on February 17th in the Wichita City Hall First Floor Board Room for a communitywide meeting, to hear a presentation about Better Blocks; learn ways to become involved; and set the foundation for next steps. We look forward to a great turnout and are excited about building a Wichita Better Block together!
