What Now?

Just thought I’d share with you one of those milestones/life events we’ve recently had here. Nova has retired after 38 years with her/our (former) employer. So what does this mean when it comes to bikes? More riding? For Nova yes but for me so far the opposite. Nova is now home to enforce the honey-do list that was left for me 7+ years ago when I retired. I spent that 7 years riding around ignoring the list. We’re now trying to work out a balance of doing what we need to do and what we want to do. As for retirement planning the only plan we really ever had was to do it as soon as possible. What comes next I guess we’ll just wing it. We do of course hope to travel and ride more. One of the first things we thought we’d do is our 2nd bike camping trip but so far a few things (mostly weather) has stopped that from happening.

Congrats to Nova and I’m excited for more time spent together both on and off the bikes and as always a big thanks to you our bike friends for following along with whatever it is we’re up to.

Below are a few random photos from Nova’s retirement so far…
