The Fork in The Road
My plan was to ride a mile to eat lunch and then back home but as is often the case, I later found myself miles from home on a bike not well suited for distance and with little water. It was still an enjoyable ride.
Corn waiting to be harvested.
I made a Geocouch score along the way at an abandoned farm house.
The farmhouse. I’m sure it was a beautiful building in it’s day.
An old building, possibly a gas station, along what used to be a busy highway before the interstate was built a half mile away.
When I reached a fork in the road, being indecisive as I am, I turned around and headed back home.
Since I’m participating in the National Bike Challenge I had to map my miles when I got home and found I rode 26 miles which coincidentally is the same as I rode yesterday on a ride in to the big city.
