The wooden roller coaster at the abandoned Joyland Amusement Park. Many good times there as a kid.
One of 2 grade schools I attended as a kid. It was old when I went there so you know it”s really old now. Built in 1890.
Last night we rode finding items for the Bike Ride & Seek Facebook scavenger hunt. One of the items on the list is “a clock displaying a time of 7:30”. We rode to a particular clock we had in mind only to find it doesn”t work. We think of another and race towards it. With a ways still to go I check my phone and see it”s already 7:30. I holler to Nova several times that we are too late but she ignores me and keeps speeding on. I stop and rest for a bit and then continue on to the clock. When I arrive I see her bike posed in front of clock and her setting up her shot. I look and the clock is 11 minutes slow! She got there early!
My photo of the correct time and Nova getting her incorrect time of 7:30.
Both of us trying to get our “chicken” for Bike Ride & Seek. I think we”ll keep looking as the chicken (rooster?) is to hard to see in our photos.
I needed to get a photo of Nova”s Schwinn so I tested how secure I was in my manliness and took it for a ride.
