So Far This Week

First up we had a friend and her son come visit from out of town for a couple of days. The four of us went for a bike ride one morning on our local paths.

The young man started out riding our Grand-kids MTB, then half way through our ride I switched bikes with him and he rode the fat-bike.

Nova and I spent the day after our friends left, riding in the big city in search of some Bike Ride & Seek items. One of the items I scratched off my list was “burger at a burger joint” which was a black bean burger at a fairly new restaurant, the Lotus Leaf.

The goal here was to get the burger, building and bike all in one photo.

The next couple of days we had family visit from out of town. Two times during their stay we rode our local paths.

6 of us went out for an evening ride with a stop at the park.

The following morning 5 of us went for another ride.

I think the bikes my Nephews chose to ride reflected their individual personalities.

Nephew 1 on one of our laid back custom cruisers.

Nephew 2 on the aggressive fat-bike.

Our Great-Nephew really enjoyed riding the puddles left by the previous night’s rain.

Our Great-Nephew wasn’t the only one enjoying the puddles. Even with the approaching mass of bicycles this little fellow refused to give up his cool, wet claim.

Upon our return home, we washed our Great-Nephew’s clothes and then bid them farewell as they headed for places further South.

The following day Nova and I rode to the casino for some fun, food and drink.
