30 Days of Biking Challenge
This is me riding to get today”s paper on the first day of the 30 Days of Biking challenge.
April Fools! That”s not really me.
April Fools again! That is me but I don”t read the paper.
Instead I am once again not making the pledge and not taking the 30 Days of Biking Challenge. Today I had nowhere I needed to go and I didn”t want to ride for pleasure as it was raining outside. Come evening when the rain had stopped we went for a walk. So unless I get the urge to ride between now and midnight I already blew my chances of riding all 30 days. But hey, now I”m free to ride when I need to or when the mood strikes. No pressure. Whew!
Earlier this month (so I could win a free t-shirt) I said that I would ride our local rail-to-trail on March 30th which was named Opening Day For Trails. But I didn”t ride. After recent snow and rain I believed riding the trail wet could cause damage to it. Yeah I”m full of excuses.
I”m predicting a flat tire in my near future as the biking gods are probably angry with me by now.
I did have a great ride on the day that fell between these 2 big bike days though.
And as hometown boy Joe Walsh”s album cover reads… “But Seriously, Folks…”
Good luck to those who took the pledge and are taking on the challenge.
I wonder if Joe has ever participated in a 30 Days Of Guitar Playing Challenge?
