No Peace

When I showed Nova the above photo of a peace sign I made from a bicycle tire, rim and some wood, I had the photo cropped where all she could see was the peace sign. I told her the photo was from Lance Armstrong”s website and pictures of his house. “That”s cool!” she said. I then expanded the photo to show it was actually hanging on our basement wall. “Get that thing off there!” she now said. No longer did she see it as art, but instead just a dirty bicycle tire hanging on our wall. I already knew that was coming and had taken it down right after I shot the photo. I”m sure she”ll come around eventually and it”ll find a place somewhere within our home (or garage).
