Don’t Drink The Water

Nor ski or swim in it. Its probably best just to stay away from Riggs Pond till the harmful Algae bloom is over. Contact with the water could lead to illness. I think looking at it might even be bad for your eyes. Its bright green color may burn your retnas. Keep your pets and livestock away also.

FYI its never a good idea to drink water from the pond.

Haysville Incentive Programs Extended

Incentives introduced in February for new homeowners and businesss owners have done so well that the city council recently voted to extend the program.

The $1,500 homeowner grants can be used toward closing costs, landscaping, a water bill credit or a combination of all three.

Magicians On The Magic Trail

What: The Magic Trail in Haysville, Kansas will be presenting the Wizards of Wichita. The Wizards in Friday’s performance are a part of the International Brotherhood of Magicians. These special guests will be sure to entertain the crowd with magic.
Where: The Magic Trail begins at the Haysville Library.
When: Friday, July 29 6:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
