Who Gets The Turkey And Who Gets The $50?

Both the 4th annual Turkey Give-away and our 1st Photo Contest have come to an end. Thanks to Leekers Family Foods of Haysville for sponsoring the turkey give-away and thanks to those who submitted their pictures for the photo contest.

Mr. Clark of Clarks Hardware is retiring from the hardware business. The store is currently having a “close out sale”.

The restaurant just West of Broadway on Grand has changed hands and names and is now open for business as the Haysville Diner.

The convenience store formerly known as Total at Grand and Main is now a Diamond Shamrock.

The newly constructed Main Street Liquor Outlet and Smoke Shop on North Main is now open for business.

Haysville Girl Breaks World Record

The Haysville Times reports that Campus Senior Jeri Shepherd took first place last weekend in the heavyweight division of the power lifting competition at the National Athletic Strength Association National Power Lifting and Power Sports Championships. In addition to taking first place Jeri also broke the worlds record for Womens Teenage World Heavy Lifting with lifts consisting of a 441lb squat, a 182lb bench press, and a 385lb dead lift. Congratulations Jeri!

They hope to be in the new location by April 1st. In the mean time you can save 50% off selected items at the current location on west Grand.

Haysville True Value Hardware at 325 N. Main is celebrating their grand opening this weekend. Stop by for food, fun, prizes and to see the new store.

Emily Cerullo-Ames is opening a new nail salon by the name of Extreme Nails. It is located in Marvins Hillcrest Plaza on N. Main in the space formerly occupied by Klassy Kuts.

Hardware Store Now Open

Haysville True Value Hardware and Rental located at 325 N. Main in Marvins Hillcrest Plaza is now open. The store opened its doors last Thursday with its first customer waiting for the Fire Marshall to sign off on the final inspection so he could purchase a bolt. In addition to what you would normally expect to find at a hardware store they also offer inkjet and laserjet cartridge refilling and will offer tool rentals which they expect to have going by this Saturday.
Store hours will be 7:00am to 7:00pm Monday through Saturday and 10:00am to 5:00pm on Sundays. You can reach them by phone at 522-TOOL.
