Haysville’s New Restaurant

From Kansas.com

Cruse’n Cafe opened Tuesday at 1417 E. Grand Ave. in Haysville, where the Haysville Diner closed last week.

Owner Tammy Cruse previously had Marcie’s Cafe in Goddard. She lost her lease and closed at the end of May. Her landlord then took over that restaurant.

Cruse purchased the Haysville Diner building and says she offered to let that restaurateur keep running it but ended up as the operator instead.

Cruse’n Cafe will be open from 5:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday. The previous restaurant was closed on Sunday.

Breakfast will be available all day. There are also hamburgers, chicken fried steak, open-faced sandwiches and homemade pies.
