Haysville True Value Hardware and Rental located at 325 N. Main in Marvins Hillcrest Plaza is now open. The store opened its doors last Thursday with its first customer waiting for the Fire Marshall to sign off on the final inspection so he could purchase a bolt. In addition to what you would normally expect to find at a hardware store they also offer inkjet and laserjet cartridge refilling and will offer tool rentals which they expect to have going by this Saturday.
Store hours will be 7:00am to 7:00pm Monday through Saturday and 10:00am to 5:00pm on Sundays. You can reach them by phone at 522-TOOL.
Business is booming here in Haysville. In addition to the True Value hardware store and Main Street Liquor Outlet and Smoke Shop that we’ve mentioned here, The Haysville Times reports these additional new businesses coming to town… Bergland Trachten LTD, Celebrations By Linda, Sue Looney’s Body Wellness, Old 81 Diner and Espresso Express.

Klassy Kuts has moved back to their old location at 324 E Grand.
This summer the Wichita Highlanders semi-professional baseball team will be playing at Vulcan Park and are considering making Haysville their permanent home.
If you travel on north Main street you may have already noticed the two new businesses that will be coming to town. An True Value hardware store will be occupying the space that was once Leekers in Marvins Hillcrest Plaza. Just south of there between Dairy Queen and Beehler Realty, ground is being broken for a new building that will be the Main Street Liquor Outlet and Smoke Shop.
Its been known by several names in the past most recently Dutchs. The restaraunt located just south of 71st on Broadway has changed hands and will now be called The Old 81 Diner.
