Haysville Bike Month Activities

At the April 27th City Council meeting, Mayor Bruce Armstrong signed a proclamation recognizing May as Bike Month and May 15th as Bike to Work Day.

To celebrate Bike to Work Day, the City will be hosting a ‘pit stop’ at the Vickers Building from 6:00 to 9:00 a.m. on Friday, May 15th. Citizens are encouraged to swing by the pit stop to grab some refreshments.

Then, on May 21st, meet at the Vickers Building at 7:00 p.m. to Bike with Mayor Armstrong. This two mile ride is sure to be fun for the whole family. After the ride, everyone who participated in the Bike with the Mayor event will be entered into a raffle drawing for merchandise from our awesome sponsors: Apostle Bikeworks, Bicycle X-change, Heartland Bicycle, Tom Sawyer Bike Shop and the Haysville Chamber of Commerce.
