Economic Development Director James Oltman announced at Monday’s City Council meeting that Haysville would soon be home to an urgent care clinic.
Immediate Medical Care, which currently has east and west Wichita locations, finalized the purchase of their third office, located at 7030 S. Broadway, on September 18th.The building formerly housed the Schneider Medical Clinic, but has been vacant since early 2009.
According to their website, Immediate Medical Care’s Medical Director, Dr. Grover Hershberger sought to fill the gap between an ER and primary care doctors by providing a place where “patients could go when they clearly didn’t have a medical emergency, but could not see their family doctor right away.” With clinic hours every day of the week, IMC does just that. Services offered at the clinics include treatment for maladies such as coughs, cold and flu, sinus infections, allergic reactions, cuts, burns and stitches, sprains and strains, broken bones, abdominal pain, sore throat, headaches, and breathing difficulty.
The clinic is expected to open in November of this year.

This appears to be a different building than whats seen in other photos we have. I am assuming this was a second depot that replaced the first.
Date unknown.
Behind the depot is Main street. The direction of the photo is north east.
