Campus High School in Haysville is on its way to becoming the second school in the Wichita area to offer the prestigious International Baccalaureate diploma.
The school, at 55th South and Meridian, is in the final stages of certification to become an IB school. It hopes to enroll its first class of 30 to 40 juniors into the advanced college preparatory program in the fall of 2013.
Joe Sailors, an assistant principal at Campus and coordinator designee for the program, said it could have a “huge impact” on the school and district, and not just for the students enrolled in the program.
