Last nights tornado appears to have clipped the South and East edges of Haysville. Damage could be seen in the areas around 79th street South between Meridian and Broadway and 71st street South between Broadway and Hydraulic. The homes in the latter area seem to receive the worst damage. Most other areas appeared to have trees and fences down. The good news is I have yet to hear of any fatalities or even injuries in our immediate area.
If youve lived in Haysville for some time you probably know how traumatic and devastating this can be. Our hearts go out to those affected by last nights storm.
