Jumping To Conclusions

The other night while driving by the Haysville Middle School, a vehicle in the parking lot caught my attention. It was a cute little white car with the word “Hawks” in giant red letters on the side. I couldn’t imagine an individual displaying the name of their kids middle school mascot so big and boldly on their personal vehicle. I thought only Chiefs fans did that. So I quickly concluded that this must be a USD 261 vehicle payed for with my tax dollars. I wondered who was driving this thing the principal? Argh!
The next day it just so happens that I spot the same or a similar vehicle at another location far from the middle school. Upon closer inspection I then realized my jump to a conclusion was a stupid one.
Do you know how this story ends?
