Campus bowling sweeps home tourney in shocking fashion
There may not have been a more disappointed team in the entire state of Kansas Saturday than the Derby girls’ bowling team.It was announced that Campus and Derby finished with the same overall score so it was sent to a tiebreak. The determining tiebreak was which team bowled a higher high game.
Campus 213, Derby 214. Derby had just won the first annual Campus Bowling Invitational. So along the awards ceremony went, right into the boys’ finishers. A Seneca Bowl worker then approached the medal table and had a short discussion with the announcer.
