The Haysville Recreation Department is pleased to announce the Grand Re-Opening of the Haysville Activity Center. A ribbon cutting will be held at 7:30 a.m. on March 28, 2008 at the Activity Center located at 7106 S. Broadway. The HAC recently underwent three months of renovation and $280,000 worth of improvements. The newly remodeled Center had improvements done to the cardio and weight rooms and new strength machines, treadmills, ellipticals, and recumbent bikes were installed. A fresh coat of paint was applied throughout the building and new flooring was put down. Recreation Director Georgie Carter stated, “We are very excited to have the community join us for our grand re-opening. Improvements have been made to the Activity Center that we feel will be very beneficial to the recreational needs of Haysville.”
There will be coffee and donuts served at the re-opening and you can enter a drawing for a chance to win a membership to the HAC or a season pass to the Dewey Gunzelman Pool. The Center is offering free admission all day and special pricing on a 6 month membership. The event is open to the public and everyone is encouraged to attend.
