Midwest Bicycle Fest A Success!

First a big THANKS to everyone who showed up and made the first Midwest Bicycle Fest a success. We guesstimate 120 bikes and 70 participants. Also thanks to all of you who helped get the word out, Tom for making the Peoples Choice trophy and Jack of Morton Choppers for donating the cool mechanics shirts that went to our runners up. I hope everyone had a great time despite the gale force winds. I know some bikes were damaged and I appreciate people taking this risk to share their bikes with the public.

Pat O is the winner of our random drawing from those who signed up for this newsletter. Pat will receive an official Midwest bicycle Fest t-shirt. T-shirts can still be ordered online from the website.

Next year… I don’t see why we won’t repeat this next year. Maybe with a little more organization, more prizes and contests and definitely a parade ride! I believe the location worked out well. There was plenty of room and the bike path is great for test riding the bikes especially for the younger ones.

Once again thanks to everyone and we welcome your comments and suggestions for next years fest. Use the Contact link on the website. Please encourage your bicycle friends to visit the website and sign up for this newsletter. We’ll be in touch again soon.
