River Path Resurfaced

Wichita’s Arkansas River Path was recently resurfaced making for a very nice, smooth ride.
KDOT Enhancement Projects
Wichita and Derby have been chosen by the Kansas Department Of Transportation to receive funding for bike/pedestrian trails. In Wichita it will be the development of the Redbud Trail.

Bicycle Bob In Critical Condition After Accident
From what I have read Robert Hughes (aka Bicycle Bob) was riding his bike early Saturday morning on East Central when he was struck by a truck. The truck fled the the scene. The owner of the truck was later found and arrested. Mr Huges is in critical condition and being treated at Wesley Medical Center.
