ATTENTION COASTERS !
SANTA NEEDS YOUR HELP AGAIN !!
Yes my fellow Coasters it’s that time again. Santa needs our help to assemble bicycles for the “Believe in Christmas” extravaganza at ” Century2″. This is a VERY GOOD opportunity to show the city of Wichita that not all gangs are bad. Our gang of bicycle enthusiasts are some of the very best people on earth. This year the total of bicycles to be assembled has been increased to a staggering…..800 BIKES ! Last year we put together over 400 bikes. And the year before that over 250 bikes. To say that this event is growing would be an understatement. And our Coasters have been a very important part of this yearly event. YES I’m proud to be a COASTER !
For those of you that would like to be a part of this years event.
Here are the details.
The “Believers Tabernacle Church” is located on the “Southeast” corner of Hillside & Mt. Vernon. Very easy to find.
This is where we will assemble the bikes. “Bicycle Bill” is the guy in charge of this assembly. He has ask me to have several COASTERS that have bicycle building knowledge to serve as inspectors prior to loading the bikes on the trucks. We will also be building. We will put everybody to work. Even the kids can help.
THIS SATURDAY !!!
Place- Believers Tabernacle Church- Corner of South Hillside & Mt.Vernon. BRING your Tools & assembly stands.
ASSEMBLE DATE – DECEMBER 1,2012- 7:00 AM- till finished !! This could carry over to Sunday. But it’s unlikely.
Believe in Christmas Extravaganza at “CENTURY 2”
December 15, 2012 . Those of you that would like to help in this area. I’ll have to get more details from “Bicycle Bill”. I know we worked our tails off last year. Just ask Dangerous Dan.
I know that last year….after this event…I was worn out…but had the best feeling in the world. You CAN”T BUY the fuzzy feeling you get from helping your fellow man. I look forward to seeing our COASTERS there again this year. Thank You !
Those that are going to the Christmas in Delano Ride the same day could maybe help in the morning and/or Sunday if needed.
