Not a big turnout of Coasters but enough to make our presence known. The rain held off, but the wind had us picking up bikes all day. The bikes suffered a few scratches and scrapes. 17 bikes and 9 riders in the parade.

The Canal Cruisers at our turnaround point

Donuts, socializing and riding with like-minded bike nuts, the wind didn’t turn out to be all that bad, spotted a few deer, no flats, no breakdowns, lots of colorful cruise-wear. What a nice ride! Thanks to everyone who came out. We had people come from Kingman and Newton to ride. Jeremy had 3 generations of his family riding. 32 bikes, 33 riders, 34 if you count Barkley the beagle. We rode about 10 miles.

Thank you for participating in the 6th Annual St Patrick?s Parade in Historic Delano. Police estimated the crowd at 8-10,000 and there were over 2,000 in the parade!!

I normally post this in the dead of Winter when we’ve all got cabin fever. I don’t recall there being a dead of winter this year. So here it is anyway…
