This swap starts @ dawn and goes until it too hot to be outside.
Vendor space $10, free to the public.
Bring your bikes, parts and other fun stuff you want to sell or trade and find all the parts you need to finish the projects you’ve got started. This is Kansas city’s biggest & oldest bicycle swapmeet.
The Cowtown Mallroom will also be open.
14 of us Coasters braved the 101 degree heat last night to ride and watch the classic silent movie comedy Safety Last. The film was accompanied by Professor Steven Ball on Wichita’s Mighty Wurlitzer organ. It was another great performance and those of us who had seen the Phantom Of The Opera last year, agreed we liked this movie better.
Following the movie we rode to Braum’s for ice cream.
This Saturday the 19th is the 1st PorkChoppd Shop ride Anyone who wants to ride from the shop over to Sedgwick Co. Park for a nice ride through the area and back. We will be leaving from the shop around 5:00 pm There is parking there also. After the ride PorkChoppd will be throwing down Brauts, Hots and drinks for all.
