2012 Partridge Pedal Party

A pancake and sausage breakfast. Candy flying to children eagerly watching the parade. Novel machines, skilled unicyclists (playing hockey!), entertainment, activities, food, community, and fun for all. What’s not to like?! Join us for this year’s Partridge Pedal Party on October 20, 2012!

More info and schedule of events here.

Ride In The 2012 Historic Midtown Tour

Volunteer to simply ride around on your antique bicycle for a couple hours during the tour and you’ll receive a free admission ticket. The streets will be closed to vehicular traffic so it’s a great way to tour the area plus with your free admission you’ll get to see inside some of Midtown’s magnificent old homes. Check in at the Fairview Christian Church, 1650 north Waco and tell them you’re with the Coasters bicycle Club. Antique bicycle only please.
October 13th 11:00am – 5:00pm. October 14th 1:00pm – 5:00pm.

New Path Progress

A lot of progress has been made on the new path that will connect the Arkansas River and the Gypsum Creek/Planeview paths. It looks like most of the concrete is in place except for a section South of Garvey Park. I estimate this new path to be about 4 miles.

Along the Arkansas River near MacArthur street as viewed from 135.

The uncompleted section is South of Garvey park.
